I am the Associate Dean Early Childhood Teacher Education at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch , New Zealand . I have been involved in teacher education for 17 years and am a qualified early childhood teacher. My current role includes responsibility for the early childhood teacher education qualifications offered by the University of Canterbury . My particular areas of interest are the relationship between cooperating teachers and teacher education provides and the expectations
of students working in multicultural societies.
I have been very involved with Kindergarten in New Zealand and am a life member of the national body having served four years as President.
