Leslie Oliver joins Faculty of Education as a visiting expert in film production and film education. At Sydney Film School, he was Head of Teaching & Production team, responsible for all aspects of over 1200 student film productions, many of which have won awards internationally. Leslie has over thirty years’ experience as a film educator and ten more as a filmmaker. He has developed and delivered curriculum for primary school, secondary school, vocational courses, undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Australia and Thailand. As co-founder of two film schools in Australia, Leslie has supervised all aspects of course delivery. He brings with him many strong connections with professional filmmakers within the Thai and Australian film industries and many more SFS alumni from around the world.
